Anyone else thinking about getting insurance for their English Bulldog?

I’ve been considering getting insurance for my English Bulldog, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I’ve heard they can be pretty high maintenance, especially with all the health issues they tend to have. The average premium is around $74 a month, which is higher than other breeds. But then again, they’re prone to things like breathing problems and skin conditions. Anyone else got insurance for their bulldog? Is it worth the cost?

Yeah, I have insurance for my bulldog. It’s honestly been a lifesaver with all the vet bills, especially with her breathing issues. I pay around $80 a month, and it covers a lot.

Same here! My bulldog’s been to the vet more times than I can count. The insurance really helps with the big bills.

I’m still on the fence about it. $74 a month is a bit much, but after reading about all the health conditions bulldogs can get, maybe it’s worth it?

It can definitely add up if your bulldog gets sick. A few vet visits and you’ll be glad you have it.

I didn’t get insurance because I thought it would be too expensive, but after reading this, I might reconsider. Bulldog health issues are no joke.

Definitely something to think about. Bulldogs are adorable, but they need a lot of care, so insurance might save you in the long run.

Bulldogs are such a sweet breed, but yeah, the snoring and health problems are no fun. I’ve got insurance, but it’s been totally worth it. I’d recommend it if you can afford it.

I’m sold, I think I’ll go for it. I’d rather pay a little each month than face huge vet bills down the line.

Does the insurance cover things like surgeries and treatments for conditions like BOAS? I’ve heard those can get pretty expensive.

Yeah, it usually covers surgeries and treatments. The best part is it can cover up to 90% of eligible vet bills, so it really helps with the bigger costs.
