I’ve been trying to give my cat a pill and omg it’s such a struggle. Like I tried hiding it in food, but this little detective somehow finds it and spits it out 
. I even crushed it and mixed it with her fav snack but nope… Still suspicious. Anyone else dealing with this? What actually works?
Lmao yeah my cat sniffs everything like it owes her money 
. I ended up using this pill popper thing… way easier than trying to shove it in with my hands.

It’s like a mini syringe that shoots the pill to the back of their mouth. Super helpful if your cat’s extra squirmy.
I wrapped my kitty like a burrito with a towel lol. She hates it but at least she stays still long enough for me to sneak the pill in.

Anyone tried mixing the crushed pill in jelly food? Mine ate it when I used tuna-flavored soft food. You just gotta make sure it’s not too much food so they don’t leave some behind.

Yeah def ask your vet first. Some meds lose effectiveness if crushed. Mine said it was fine for this one tho.
My vet gave me this capsule thingy. You can put like 2–3 small pills inside and just give them all at once. Helps when you’ve got multiple meds to give.

It’s called a gelatin capsule. They’re smooth so they go down easier. You can even use the pill giver with it.
FYI if your cat won’t take food with the meds, try giving it right before mealtime. When they’re hungry they don’t question stuff as much lol.

Trueee! Mine snatched it right up when I gave it before breakfast. Hunger is a strong motivator
