so my cat always runs over when I open a yogurt… like she’s obsessed. I know milk isn’t great for cats, but does that include yogurt too? wondering if I can let her have a little bit or if it’s a bad idea…
yogurt has less lactose than milk, but most cats are still lactose intolerant. so yeah, probs not the best idea.

dairy-free is safer since it doesn’t have lactose! just make sure it doesn’t have added sugars or xylitol (that stuff is toxic).

just a tiny amount! like a teaspoon max and not every day. it should be an occasional treat, not a regular thing.
isn’t yogurt supposed to have probiotics? thought that’d be good for them?

yep, but the amount in yogurt isn’t really enough to make a difference for cats. plus, they should be getting all their nutrients from their normal food anyway.
also, watch out for flavored yogurts! they have tons of sugar and sometimes xylitol, which can be super dangerous.
