I was snacking on some blackberries and my dog kept staring at me like he wanted some. I wasn’t sure if they were safe for dogs, so I looked it up. Turns out, they are! But only in moderation. Too many can upset their stomach. Also, gotta watch out for allergies. Anyone else feed their dogs blackberries? How do they react?
Yeah, I give my dog a few here and there. He loves them! But I always cut them up since he’s a small breed.

Yeah, especially for small dogs. Whole ones could be a choking hazard.

Not sure about digestion, but my dog’s energy levels are great. Maybe the vitamins help?

Mostly itching, but his face puffed up a little too. Stopped giving them after that.
I freeze them and give them as a summer treat. My dog LOVES them that way!

Depends on their size. Start with one or two and see how they react. Treats shouldn’t be more than 10% of their diet.
