Hey everyone, I was snacking on some raspberries earlier and my dog was staring at me like I owed him some lol. It got me wondering, are raspberries actually safe for dogs? I don’t wanna give him something that could mess with his stomach or anything. Anyone here give raspberries to their pup?
Yeah, they’re totally fine in moderation! Raspberries have antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber, so they can be a pretty healthy treat for dogs.

I read somewhere that less than 1/2 cup a day is a safe amount. But depends on your dog’s size too!
Just make sure you don’t go overboard. Too much fiber can upset their stomach, and raspberries do have natural sugar.

Yeah, but only in tiny amounts. It’s nothing like the artificial xylitol in sugar-free gum or candy. Your dog would have to eat a ton for it to be an issue.
Btw, if you wanna switch things up, strawberries and blueberries are great too. My dog loves ‘em!

Yep! Strawberries and blueberries are packed with vitamins and antioxidants. Plus, they’re softer, so they’re easier for dogs to chew.
Heads up—grapes, raisins, and avocados are a no-go for dogs. Super toxic. Just in case anyone wasn’t aware!

It’s called persin, and it can cause vomiting and diarrhea in dogs. Better to just avoid it.
