How do I know if my cat loves me, any signs to look for?

Hey everyone! So, I’ve been wondering lately if my cat actually loves me or if it’s just me overthinking things. I know cats are different from dogs, but I still want to know if there are signs that show affection. My cat always sits next to me, and sometimes licks my hand, but IDK if that’s just her being needy. Does anyone know what to look for to see if your cat really loves you?

Yeah, cats have their own ways of showing love. One sign is if your cat cuddles with you – it’s like their way of saying they trust you. It’s not something they do with just anyone, so you’re lucky if they do it with you!

Ohh, that’s good to know! My cat always curls up on my lap when I’m on the couch. I thought it was just because it’s comfy lol.

Also, if your cat does that slow blink thing at you, that’s like their way of giving you a kitty kiss. Try blinking slowly back at them and see what happens!

Wait, slow blink? Like, blinking really slowly? Never knew that was a thing. I’ll try it next time!

Don’t forget about tail movements! A cat’s tail can say a lot. If it’s upright and swaying or wrapping around your legs, that’s a sign of love and happiness. Cats are cute like that!

Ah, I’ve seen my cat do that! She wraps her tail around my legs when I get home. I always thought it was just a weird habit lol.

My cat brings me ‘gifts’ like toys or even random socks. It’s kinda weird, but I think it’s her way of showing love. Does anyone else’s cat do that?

Lol, yes! My cat tries to bring me dead bugs sometimes. It’s a bit gross, but I get what she’s doing. It’s her way of saying she loves me!

I read somewhere that if your cat sleeps near you or on you, that’s a major sign of affection. Cats don’t just do that with anyone, so if your cat does, it’s definitely a good sign!

Yeah, my cat sleeps on my bed every night. Sometimes she even lays on my chest, which I guess means I’m her favorite human lol.
