I recently adopted an 8-month-old kitty, and she’s been doing well so far. With winter break coming to an end, I’ll be heading back to my apartment soon, about an hour away from home, but I’m worried about how she’ll handle the travel. I don’t want too much stress for her, especially since I’ll be making trips back home occasionally. I’ve been trying to get her used to her carrier by feeding her in it and giving her treats, hoping it’ll help. If I need to go home for just the weekend, I don’t plan to take her with me, and I’m thinking about asking a friend to feed her. She’s my first cat, so I’m anxious about making sure she’s comfortable. Is it okay to leave her alone for a couple of days, or should I find someone to check in on her? Any advice from others with similar experiences would be really appreciated!
