I’ve been thinking about getting a Poodle mix, but IDK which one to go for. They all seem great, hypoallergenic coats, smart, friendly, and easy to train. But with so many choices like Maltipoos, Cockapoos, and Bernedoodles, it’s kinda overwhelming. Anyone here have one? What’s your experience like?
I have a Cockapoo, and he’s the best! Super friendly and doesn’t shed much. If you want a low-maintenance dog, they’re a great choice.

That sounds awesome! How much exercise do they need? I don’t want a dog that needs constant running lol.
@Kit
Not too crazy! Moderate exercise is enough. A daily walk and some playtime, and they’re happy.
If you want a super small dog, maybe look into a Yorkipoo? They’re tiny, don’t shed much, and are good for first-time owners.

Sounds interesting! How big do they get?

Anywhere from 3 to 14 lbs! It depends if they’re mixed with a toy or mini Poodle.
I have a Bernedoodle! If you want a bigger, super affectionate dog, they’re amazing. They can be tiny, mini, or standard-sized.

Oh wow, didn’t know they came in different sizes. Do they need a big yard?
@Kit
Not necessarily! They’re adaptable, so as long as they get daily exercise, they’re fine in an apartment too.
Maltipoos are super easy to train and great with kids! If you have a family, they’re a solid pick.

I heard they live pretty long too?

Yep! Around 10-13 years. They stay pretty small too, like 5-20 lbs.
Whatever you get, just make sure you consider their needs! Some are high-energy, some are super chill. And always check with a vet if you’re unsure about anything.
