Thinking of returning a dog to the shelter, what would you do?

I’m glad to hear the dog found a new home. You made a difficult but right choice.

Your cats were there first, and you’re not wrong for wanting them to feel safe. Maybe someday you’ll find a dog that’s a better match, but for now, focus on your cats.

Thank you. That’s what I’m hoping to do. I just want everyone to feel safe and loved.

It takes time for cats to adjust. We had a rough start with our pets too, but they eventually became friends. Just a thought if you want to try again someday.

Introducing pets takes patience. It’s a learning experience, for sure.

You have to prioritize your cats’ safety. They deserve to feel comfortable in their home. Don’t feel bad.

You’re right. I just want them to feel at peace again. Thank you for saying that.

Was the dog spayed recently? Sometimes the scent of anesthesia drives cats crazy. Just a thought.

It takes time for pets to adjust, but you did what you thought was best. Don’t beat yourself up.
