Hey everyone, I’ve got 9 cats (yep, 9 ) ranging from 5 months to 18 years old. I’m looking for a good multi-pet insurance plan, but the cost of insuring each one individually is just too much. None of them have pre-existing conditions. Does anyone know of a plan that could cover all my little furballs? Thanks in advance guys.
You might want to check with MetLife. They offer a family plan, though I think it’s limited to three pets. I’m not sure if they can increase the limit, but it’s worth asking. They’re the only company I know of that shares limits and deductibles across multiple pets. Just a heads up, it might not be available in all states, so you’d have to confirm.
Also, insuring your senior cats may not be worth it. A lot of companies don’t even provide quotes for older pets, and if they do, the prices can be sky-high. Plus, with pre-existing conditions being excluded, an older cat might have a lot that wouldn’t be covered. It might make more sense to focus on the younger ones, but definitely get some quotes first.
Cats have 9 lives, and you’ve got 9 cats, sounds like you’ve got 81 lives to manage. Honestly, insurance might not even be necessary at that point.
You could always just take a gamble and save the money for emergencies!
Sounds like you might need therapy after dealing with 9 cats
