I’ve been looking into dog food brands for my pup, and wow… so many options. I want something high quality but not crazy expensive. Any recommendations? I’ve heard about The Farmer’s Dog, Ollie, and Taste of the Wild, but IDK what’s actually worth it. Anyone have experience with these?
Yeah, I’ve tried Taste of the Wild for my dog. It’s grain-free and has real meat as the first ingredient. My pup loves it, and his coat looks great.

Nice! Does it work for all dog sizes? I’ve got a medium-sized dog, and I want to make sure it’s good for him.

Yeah, they have different formulas for different sizes. Should work fine for your pup!
I use The Farmer’s Dog. It’s fresh food, kinda pricey, but my dog is obsessed with it. If you’re okay with a subscription service, it’s worth checking out.

I’ve seen ads for it. Is it actually fresh? Or just fancy marketing?

It’s legit fresh! Human-grade ingredients, no preservatives. Feels like I’m feeding my dog a home-cooked meal lol.
If your dog has allergies, Wellness Simple is a good option. Limited ingredients, and my dog hasn’t had skin issues since switching.

Oh, my dog sometimes gets itchy. Does this have grains or nah?

They have both grain-free and regular options. Just check the label for what works best.
Orijen is another solid choice if you want high protein. It’s kinda expensive, but the quality is top-tier.

I keep hearing about Orijen! What makes it so good?

They use fresh, regional ingredients and a high percentage of real meat. It’s more biologically appropriate for dogs, kinda like what they’d eat in the wild.
Anyone tried Blue Buffalo? I see it everywhere, but IDK if it’s actually good or just good marketing.

Yeah, I was wondering the same. They talk about ‘LifeSource Bits’… what even is that?

It’s a mix of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Supposed to help with immune health. My dog eats Blue Buffalo, and he’s doing great on it.
