Which pet insurance provider is better for Canadians: Furkin or Fetch?

Which pet insurance provider is better for Canadians: Furkin or Fetch? I’m in Canada and my options are pretty limited. I’m down to either Furkin or Fetch since Trupanion is too pricey for me, and I’m fine with no direct billing. Has anyone tried Furkin? I haven’t seen much about them

I’ve been with Furkin for about six months now, and their customer service is fantastic. They cover a lot of things that many other pet insurance companies don’t, like exam fees. Plus, they’re backed by the same underwriters as Trupanion, so I feel confident they’ll be around for a while. They’re kind of like the middle-tier option among carriers

Thanks for sharing that. I checked both sample policies, and they look pretty similar. The main difference seems to be that Fetch has a 15k max while Furkin has a 20k max. Fetch offers some dental coverage too. I’ve heard good things about Furkin, but there just aren’t as many reviews compared to Fetch

I had Trupanion for my dog who recently passed away, and while they covered a lot during her lifetime and had direct billing, every claim turned into a battle towards the end. Plus, my premiums jumped over 30 percent each year which was just crazy. Now I have Furkin for my mini dachshund. I got her insured when she was 5 years old and they’ve been amazing. She’s 7 now, and I can’t say enough good things about them. I just got a new puppy and I’ll be signing him up with Furkin too

I’m comparing these two options myself right now. Which one did you end up choosing?
