my cat’s been meowing way more than usual and sometimes it sounds like a full-on scream lol. it’s kinda random, like sometimes near meal time but other times at the door or just in the middle of the night. idk if she’s just being dramatic or if something’s actually wrong. anyone else dealing with a super vocal kitty? 
could be hunger or boredom tbh. mine does the same right before dinner every day like clockwork

same here lol. i had to put her on a feeding schedule to stop the all-day begging. helps a bit but she still cries when it’s close to meal time.

i do morning and evening, like 8am and 6pm. keeps her sorta chill in between.
could be she just wants attention… my cat does the same when i’ve been ignoring her 
sometimes just 10 mins of playing or petting chills her out.

ah yeah that makes sense… i’ve been kinda busy lately. i’ll try giving her more playtime and see if that helps.

100% recommend a cat door if it’s safe where you live. made my life way easier.

just means they meow a lot even if nothing’s wrong. some breeds are more vocal by nature like siamese or bengals.

good point. i’ll keep an eye on her and take her in if it keeps up. didn’t even think about health stuff tbh.
fyi if she’s not spayed she might be in heat… they get super loud during that time
