Do all vets accept pet insurance?

So, I’ve been wondering if all vets accept pet insurance, does anyone know if there are any vets out there who don’t take it? I have a policy with Spot Pet Insurance, and I’ve heard they let you choose any licensed vet, but just wanted to get some more info before I book an appointment. Can anyone confirm?

Yep, exactly! You pay first and then submit your claim. They’ll check it out and send you a reimbursement based on your coverage.

I used Spot Pet Insurance and had zero issues. I’ve been to both regular vets and emergency clinics, and they all accepted it. Just make sure the vet is licensed!

Yes, the vet has to be licensed. But that’s pretty standard across the board. Spot won’t cover unlicensed vets, so just check before you go.
