Help, my cats won’t stop fighting at night ,what should I do?

Every night, my cats keep going at it, and it’s wearing me out. They seem to be play-fighting, but it’s loud! My female cat yells every time, even though my male cat is mostly quiet. I get up to stop them, but they just start up again. I’ve tried playing with them a lot before bed, but it doesn’t help. Anyone have ideas?

I heard that giving them some meat right before bed can calm them down.

I can try that! Would duck jerky work, you think?

How old are they? My cats got a lot calmer around two years old.

My vet recommended Prozac for one of my cats, and it really helped calm things down. Might be worth asking your vet.

I give my cats Zylkene after their evening playtime, usually around 11 pm. It’s helped a lot with their nighttime energy and they finally let me sleep! My vet suggested it.
