Looking for a copy of Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan contract terms!

I’ve been trying to find a copy of Banfield’s Optimum Wellness Plan (OWP) contract terms online, but no luck. I contacted Banfield directly, and they only provided their FAQ section. I even attempted to re-enroll in the plan to check if the terms were provided during checkout, but I didn’t get that far, and I couldn’t confirm if they show up after payment.

I had the plan for my dog, but it ended about six months ago, and I decided not to renew. It was a frustrating experience because we couldn’t cancel before the 12-month term ended without paying full retail for the services we used, including a spay and other appointments, vaccines, and medication. We were forced to complete the 12 months, and this still bothers me.

We were never given a written contract or asked to sign one; the only thing I signed was the credit card receipt. We didn’t get any documentation about the terms of the plan either. Considering Banfield is a major veterinary provider with many locations, I expected the terms of the OWP to be publicly available.

Many states and countries have laws requiring businesses to provide written or electronic agreements for services that involve recurring charges, so I’m surprised that Banfield doesn’t provide a clear, accessible copy.

Has anyone here happened to keep a copy of the contract or terms and conditions for the OWP? I’d really appreciate it.

EDIT: Yes, there are general terms and a privacy policy on the Banfield website, but they don’t cover the OWP specifics. I’ve reviewed them, and I’m looking for something more specific.

I have a copy of the contract. I can blur out personal info and DM it to you if you’re okay with that.

When you signed up for the plan, the PIN pad at checkout was your agreement to the plan, not a payment receipt. You agreed to the policies there. As for canceling the plan early, you were required to pay for services already used. I’m sure the $500+ for the spay and other services you received played into that decision. If you used more services than you paid for, you were expected to either pay the difference or finish the term. It sounds like you didn’t fully understand the plan’s terms, and that’s causing frustration now. You should have received a contract when you first signed up, and you can request it from the clinic.

@Jordy
I’m not arguing about the payments; I just want to see the contract. I never received a copy, and Banfield hasn’t provided one after multiple attempts. It seems strange that they wouldn’t make it easily accessible.
